ORGANIC Herbal Tea "The One" from Africa
Blend of Artemisia annua and Artemisia afra in a 2:1 ratio.
Artemisia annua – also known as sweet wormwood – is one of the oldest medicinal plants in Eastern Europe and also one of the most important plants in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)!
Since 2002, Artemisia annua has been recognized by the WHO as a remedy for malaria.
In 2015, Chinese scientist Tu Youyou was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for her research and her 1970s study on artemisinin, one of the main active ingredients in Artemisia annua.
There is also a steadily growing number of studies in cancer therapy that prove that artemisinin has a positive effect on the body.
In Tanzania, where both components of the herbal mix originate, Artemisia annua is also successfully used in the treatment of AIDS, Lyme disease, and Covid-19.
Furthermore, A.a. is also used to relieve stomach cramps and diarrhea, as well as against bloating, to reduce fever, and against parasites.
Artemisia afra
is also called African wormwood and is one of the oldest and best-known medicinal plants in its homeland. Its spectrum of effects is immense and its areas of application include: sleep problems and depression, diabetes, headaches, earaches or toothaches, menstrual problems, heart inflammation, coughs and whooping cough, cramps and colic, kidney and bladder diseases, gout, fever, colds and flu, sweaty feet, and stuffy nose.
In addition, its antiviral effect is confirmed and a positive effect in the treatment of HIV patients has been observed.
Artemisia afra also helps against moths!
The South African Journal of Botany (2009) highlights further positive aspects of this miracle herb.
APPLICATION:
When used as a tea, we recommend pouring 1 teaspoon / cup of boiled water over it and letting this infusion steep for 10 minutes.
Afterward, the herbs can be strained – but they don't have to be.
Sweeten with a little honey if necessary and add fruit juice as desired.
When used as a therapeutic agent, 1 tablespoon of the herbal mix should be poured over 1L of boiling water. Here, too, let it steep for at least 10 minutes.
Up to 4 cups of tea should then be drunk throughout the day.
The tea can be drunk both warm and cold.
This process can be repeated for up to 2 weeks.
It should be noted here that with regular use over a longer period (approx. from 4 - 6 weeks), a gradual habituation effect occurs and the effect diminishes!
We therefore recommend taking a break of 3 - 5 days after three weeks of use.
